Pat and Mary have been married for 38 years. Pat is a retired Air Traffic Controller and now spends his days playing golf. He says it's his job, and someone has to do it. Mary works part time at DWO as a Resident Host, who loves greeting future residents, letting everyone know what a great place we live in. Since moving here to Del Webb Orlando, Mary has also taken up golf, and has learned to play Bridge and Mah Jong.
Before they moved to Del Webb Orlando Mary did a lot of leg work figuring where they would spends Pats post retirement years, and for those who know Mary, Pat's money too. He is an avid glofer and Mary is a social butterfly. She looked into areas in the East Coast and West Coast of Florida and finally settled in Del Webb Orlando. Pat was easy to sway since it had a golf course They have four children two boys and two girls, and three grandsons so far. Patrick (not a Jr.) is working as an Air Traffic Controller and living in New York, he is following in his father's footsteps. Some of you might remember Flight 1549, Miracle on the Hudson, well Patrick was the controller that talked to Sully giving him all options possible for a safe landing. To this day, Patrick still keeps in contact with Sully. Joseph is a General Manager for Best Buy in San Diego. Moved to California 7 years ago to surf for one year, then mete the love of his life, and the rest is history. Pat and Mary were our first residents to close on their home on August 24, 2007 and move into the community shortly after on August 29, 2007. they have lived thru all the construction and issues that have existed from the early days of no street lights and no neighbors. Community Manager

My name is Derek Morgan and it is with great excitement that I have the opportunity to introduce myself as the Community Manager for Access Residential Management at Del Webb Orlando.
I was raised in Middlesbrough in the UK. If you have ever visited Middlesbrough you will understand why the weather here in Central Florida is so compelling and why we moved here almost 11 years ago! My career has been interesting and diverse. I completed my MBA at the University of Luton in England, spent 20 successful years in the IT world installing computer systems into banks and brokerage companies worldwide and moved to the U.S. to do something entirely different – largely because I could!
Since arriving in the US I have worked for a children’s charity in Maitland, taught computers to kids in Osceola County, headed up a large customer service organization and led 3 Del Webb communities in South Carolina representing some 14,000 residents.
I confess, I am very excited to be back in Orlando. Actually, my wife Mandy and daughter Amy would freely tell you that we miss Orlando way-more than we miss England! My past professional and personal experiences give me the chance to provide the excellent customer service that is expected at Del Webb Orlando and I welcome the opportunity.
I am a Tampa Bay Bucs fan – which is not always easy to admit! In my spare time, I enjoy photography, fishing on the Lake Butler chain, golfing wherever I can and woodworking – which my wife refers to as making dust!
When you see me around the community or in the beautiful Montecito clubhouse please say hello, as I hope to meet as many of you as possible. I truly look forward to working with all of you. There will certainly be challenges along the way, however, I am confident with your support along with the management team we will be able to achieve the extraordinary!
If you ever need to contact me, the fastest way is by email: dmorgan@accessyourcommunity.com or leave me a message at the clubhouse on 863-424-5050.
Best regards,
Derek
